Welcome to my new course "Shaping Worlds".

After years working in visual development for animation and games, I’ve learned that creating a world is not just about making beautiful images. It is about making choices that support story, mood, character, and clarity.

I created this course to break down that process in a practical way, from gathering references and exploring shape language to building compositions, atmosphere, and a final visual development piece that feels intentional. In other words, less “nice sketch, now what?” and more “this world actually has something to say.”

Three Skills You’ll Build Inside the Course

Turn References Into Real Design Decisions

You’ll learn how to gather, read, and use references with intention, not just collect pretty images and hope they magically become a world.

Build Worlds Through Shape, Mood, and Composition

You’ll understand how shape language, atmosphere, composition, and visual rhythm work together to create environments that feel clear, cinematic, and story-driven.

Create a Final Visual Development Piece With Purpose

You’ll bring everything together into a complete worldbuilding piece, using the same kind of thinking behind professional visual development: clarity, storytelling, and intentional design choices.
